Dr. Ashton Davis

Born in Decatur, Alabama, and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Davis returned to Alabama to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the UAB School of Dentistry in 2026.

Dr. Davis’s passion for dentistry began with his own orthodontic journey. That experience showed him the lasting impact a caring provider can have, and it inspired him to build a career centered on one-on-one care and long-term relationships with patients. After eight years at UAB, Birmingham has become home, and he is delighted to begin his career with the Southern Dental Birmingham family.

Dr. Davis believes great dental care starts with understanding. He takes the time to explain each recommendation clearly, answers every question openly and honestly, and ensures his patients feel informed and confident in the decisions they make about their health. He is dedicated to ongoing education and to growing his clinical skills in order to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care.

Away from the office, Dr. Davis enjoys fantasy novels, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and spending time with family. He and his partner, who is completing PA school in Mobile, look forward to building their life together in Birmingham.
